An experimental project at the Oakland Museum of California focused on deepening and broadening experiences for ethnically diverse and new visitors in the Gallery of California Art. Staff and consultants conducted formative evaluation and prototyping with visitors that resulted in the development of a variety of new interpretive elements and installations.
